How to use ORBINOVASTRO Career
A copilot, not an autopilot. It finds, scores, drafts and tracks; you decide, check and apply. Nothing is ever sent or submitted in your name without you.
Quick start (about 20 minutes, once)
- Profile & LinkedIn: paste your complete master resume and your targets, then Save profile.
- Find Jobs → Feed settings: paste the career-page links of companies you want, check titles and locations, pick a search strategy, Save, then Check now.
- Copy your reply-tracking address from Find Jobs (if shown) and use it as the email on applications.
- Open a queued job in Job Lab: score it, tailor the resume, write the cover letter, download both.
- Apply on the company's site, then watch progress on the Dashboard.
1. Your profile (Profile & LinkedIn)
- Paste your whole master resume: every role, tools, numbers, results, certifications. Everything the app writes or scores comes only from this, so more detail means better results.
- Add target roles, location, salary target and dealbreakers. These guide scoring and the job feed.
- Draft LinkedIn sections writes a headline, About section and skills list you can paste into LinkedIn.
2. Daily job feed (Find Jobs)
- Click Feed settings. Paste company job-board links, one per line. Supported: Greenhouse (
job-boards.greenhouse.io/company), Lever (jobs.lever.co/company) and Ashby (jobs.ashbyhq.com/company). To find one, open a company's Careers page, click any job, and look at the address bar, or search "[company] greenhouse jobs". Up to 20 companies. - Set job titles to watch (e.g. "Director of Product, Client Principal"), words to skip (e.g. "Intern"), locations and whether to include remote.
- Pick a search strategy: Dream job (queues 80+ fit only), Balanced (70+), or Fast track (60+). You can also type your own minimum.
- Save. Every day the app reads those pages, keeps matching titles and locations, scores the newest against your resume, and puts the best under Queued. Check now runs it immediately (up to 4 times an hour).
- On each queued job: Open in Job Lab, Save to pipeline, Dismiss, or Posting ↗ to apply.
The feed only reads the companies you list. It can't search LinkedIn or Indeed (they don't allow it); for those, use the search links further down the Find Jobs tab.
3. Prepare each application (Job Lab)
- Paste the full posting (or open one from the feed) and click Score my fit: a 0–100 score, requirement-by-requirement evidence, missing ATS keywords, and an Apply / Stretch / Skip call.
- Tailor your resume in one of two ways:
- Suggest edits I can approve: line-by-line edits to your master resume, each showing the job keywords it adds. Accept or skip each, then Build my resume. Edits that introduce a number not in your resume are flagged.
- Tailor resume: a full rewrite for this job, with a Truth check underneath listing anything to verify.
- Switch to Cover letter and write it (today's date is added automatically), and Likely questions to prepare.
- Download cover letter + resume (Word) gives one file: cover letter first, resume on the next page, bold section headings, date-stamped file name. Save as PDF does the same as a PDF.
- Save to pipeline, then apply on the company's own site.
4. Track replies and follow up (Pipeline)
- Reply tracking: when you use your reply address on applications, employer emails are forwarded to you and sorted as confirmation, reply, interview, rejection or offer. The matching job moves forward automatically and a note is added. If an email can't be matched, link it to the right job from the Dashboard.
- Set a job to Applied and a follow-up date 7 days later is filled in. Red overdue tags show who to chase; Draft follow-up email writes the note for you to send.
- Interviewing sets a thank-you reminder 2 days later. Use Notes for recruiter names, referrals and salary talk.
5. See how it's going (Dashboard)
- Getting started shows what's left to set up.
- The funnel shows postings scanned, title matches, location fits, matches (55+), queued and applied.
- Results show replies, interviews, rejections and jobs ghosted 30+ days, as a share of applications, plus estimated time saved.
6. Practise interviews (Interview Coach)
- Pick the job and a mode (Mixed, Behavioral/STAR, Technical, Salary & HR), click Start interview, and answer as you would out loud. Each answer gets a score out of 5 and a stronger version; End and get summary gives your overall result.
Your account and plan
- Sign in with your email only: we send a one-time code. Owners also confirm with an authenticator app; anyone can turn this on under their account.
- Click your email at the top right for your plan and this month's AI actions. Each AI button press counts as one action; on Free and Pro plans each job-feed posting scored also counts. The count resets on the 1st.
- New accounts need an invite code while the site is in private beta.
- Your data syncs to any device. Download my data for a copy; Delete my career data removes everything.
Tips for best results
- Fewer, better applications win: aim for 75+ fit, tailor every one, follow up on every one.
- Keep one honest master resume and update it whenever you finish a project or earn a certification.
- Paste the whole job posting, including requirements and nice-to-haves.
- Always read AI output before sending. It won't invent experience, but it can still word things wrong.
- Ask for referrals at companies in your feed; they beat cold applications.
Common questions
Does it apply to jobs for me?
No, on purpose. Mass auto-applying breaks job-board rules and gets low reply rates. The app does the finding, scoring and writing; you click Apply, so you control what goes out under your name.
Which companies work with the job feed?
Any company whose careers page runs on Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby, which covers many tech and growth companies. Links from Workday and other systems aren't supported yet; the settings box tells you which lines it couldn't read.
Why is a posting "Not scored yet"?
Each daily run scores a limited number of new postings (5 on Free, 15 on Pro, 25 for owners). The rest are scored on the next run, or when you open them in Job Lab and click Score my fit.
I don't see a reply-tracking address.
Reply tracking is being rolled out gradually. Until it's on for your account, use your normal email on applications and update the pipeline yourself.
Where does my data go?
Your profile and jobs are stored in your private account. When the app uses AI, the relevant text is sent to OpenAI with storage turned off. Nobody else can see your data.
The code email didn't arrive.
Check spam and promotions, wait a minute, then click Send a new code. Codes expire after about an hour.
I lost my phone with the authenticator app.
Contact the site owner to reset two-step verification, then set it up again on your new phone.
An AI button shows an error.
Wait a minute and try again. If you've reached your monthly limit, it resets on the 1st. For very long postings, trim to the role description and requirements.
What does "Example" mean on some cards?
Until you save your own profile and jobs, sample data shows how each screen works. It disappears once you add your own.
